松浦知也 Tomoya Matsuura
A SoundMaker (person who creates sounds and builds tools and environments for sound production). I conduct research on designing media and infrastructure technologies related to sound through practice, which I call "Sound Civil Engineering." I have been designing and developing the music programming language "mimium" (2019~), and continue to perform with self-made electronic instruments such as the "Exidiophone" that produces sound using only feedback.
I also provide technical support for sound systems and programming of installations and sound art, as well as recording, sound design for video, and stage sound engineering.
Born in 1994. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Music, Music Environment Creation Course in 2017. Completed Master in Design, Graduate School of Design, Kyushu University in 2019. Studied at School for Poetic Computation in 2018. Completed the Ph.D at the same graduate school in 2022. Ph.D. in Design.
Special Assistant Professor at Tokyo University of the Arts, Art Media Center (AMC) from 2022-2025.
Since 2020, I have engaged in educational activities including teaching "Sound Design" at Fukuoka Jogakuin University.
