DIYで作るものとして、ドローン用のESCを利用したオープンソーススピンコーターの[[Maasi - A 3D printed spin coater with touchscreen|Maasi]]がある
（作ったけどまだ回転が安定しないので放置している）
別にドローンESCとか、パルス検出センサーとか使って回転数正確に検出しなくても、ファンの指定電圧での最高回転数xPWMのパルス幅さえ決まっていれば再現性は保てる気がする。
ファンをそのまま使うと飛沫が気になるので、簡単にファンを取り外しできるようなケースを作れば良いのではないか
