+イントレピッド博物館に行く。
 
+実際の神風特攻攻撃を受けた空母イントレピッドがそのままミュージアムになっている。

+特攻攻撃の特集展示は知覧の特攻平和祈念館とも連携して作ったものらしい。当然、見ている中には日本人は私しかいないのでなかなか複雑な気持ちになる。負けがすでに決まっている中で、少しでもいい条件での降伏をもぎ取るための特攻というとんでもない話もきちんと書かれてある。一歩も引かずに攻撃の犠牲になった黒人砲手の話とかもある。
