+私は自身の活動のテーマとして音楽に関わるインフラのDIY的アプローチによる再構築する仮想的な研究領域「音楽土木工学」を設定し、例えば音楽用プログラミング言語mimiumの開発のような研究活動を行ってきました。またそれと並行して自作電子楽器での即興演奏などのアーティスト活動を並行してきました。しかし、次の3月で大学職を辞め、フルタイムでのアーティスト活動に集中しようと考えています。
+私の今後のテーマは、音楽土木工学という学問をよりinter-disciplinary(or, anti-discipline)なものとして、アーティストとしての自分なりのアプローチで、よりオルタナティブな方向へ発展させることにあります。
+特に、活動の軸として、オーディオフィードバックのみを用いて演奏する電子楽器Exidiophoneの発展的開発、またmimiumによるライブコーディング演奏との組み合わせを追求したいと考えている。

+I have established "Civil Engineering of Music" as an imaginary research field focused on reconstructing music-related infrastructure through DIY approaches, and have pursued research activities such as developing the music programming language mimium. Concurrently, I have continued my artistic practice, including improvisational performances using self-made electronic instruments. However, I plan to resign from my university position next March to focus on full-time artistic activities. My future theme is to develop Music Civil Engineering as a more interdisciplinary (or anti-disciplinary) field, steering it toward more alternative directions through my own artistic approach. Specifically, I wish to pursue the developmental refinement of the Exidiophone—an electronic instrument played solely using audio feedback—as a central axis of my practice, and explore its combination with live coding performances using mimium. Additionally, to rethink the discipline of musical civil engineering at a physical layer, I wish to develop instruments using self-made semiconductors. Building on my experience conducting DIY workshops for dye-sensitized solar cells, I aim to explore ways to elevate this into electronic instruments and sound art works.
